Welcome to Preschool

Dear Preschool Parents,                                                             

Welcome to Holy Spirit Catholic Preschool! My name is Kristin Klein and this is my 9th year teaching at this wonderful school. Every family, staff member, and child I have met seem to exude the faith and love that make this environment so welcoming. I have a great feeling that this is going to be an awesome year! God has really blessed me in bringing me here!

Our preschoolers will be provided activities that increase their spiritual, intellectual, moral, and physical development. Developmentally appropriate activities for kindergarten readiness will be offered in all classes. We partner with parents to model behaviors that teach our children to love God and grow into faithful servants of Jesus Christ.

Arrival: Classes begin at 7:50 a.m. Please drop your child off at Good Shepherd Hall before 7:50. After 7:50 your child will need to be dropped off in the school office.  If your child will be absent from school, please call the school office at 794-8139 or send me an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We miss our friends when they are absent!

Snacks: We love snacks, but please note that our classroom is a Peanut Butter- and Nut-Free Zone. Please do not bring anything containing peanut butter, peanut or tree nut products into our classroom. We always have daily prayer before eating our snack.

Quiet Time: Students that stay all day will be having a quiet time. They will need to bring a beach towel or small blanket to lay on during this period. Please no stuffed animals. 

Dismissal: Classes are dismissed at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. We will dismiss class from the school entrance. You will need to park your car in a parking stall and walk up to the door to get your child. 

We are excited for classes to begin and to meet your children. Please check the monthly projects on this website and your child's class newsletter for further information. Thank you for your generosity in supplying school supplies and snack items.

Virtus Training
