Role
in Parish: The Parish Pastoral Council is an advisory group to
assist the pastor in shaping the vision of the parish. Through
their consultation the goals and developments of the parish
are attended to by setting a course for the parish and its
success. The Parish Pastoral Council acts as the ears and eyes
of the parish beyond the pastor. Meeting every month and as
often as needed in special circumstances, this organization
shapes immediate needs of the parish as well as long range
planning for the future. Membership on this council is
by a process of nominations from the parish organizations and
appointment by the pastor.

Role
in Parish: Members of the Parish Finance
Council have the responsibility of tracking the weekly
contributions made by the parishioners as well assisting the
pastor in preparing and approving and annual budget for the
church and school. Membership on this council is by a
process of nominations from the parish organizations and
appointment by the pastor.

Role
in Parish: The goal
of the Stewardship Committee is to provide the invitation
and opportunity for the members of our parish to experience
and live the Stewardship way of life. This committee helps
the parish office plan and prepare the annual Stewardship
Renewal packets, including the Time and Talent Contact List
and the Stewardship Pledge Form. They assemble the renewal
packets and assist with distributing them to the members of
the parish. They also coordinate and host the annual
Stewardship Fair to provide information to all members of
the parish on the ministries and stewardship opportunities
available at The Church of The Holy Spirit. This group also
helps choose the lay witnesses to speak to the parish at
Masses during the Renewal Campaign.

Role
in Parish: Members of the Catholic School Council act as
consultants to the pastor and principal in matters pertaining
to the school. They assist the principal in developing
and communicating the school's vision and mission; they help
develop and facilitate a strategic plan addressing the area of
Catholicity, curriculums personnel, facilities, finance, and
public relations; and they strive to strengthen the image of
the school through informative and interactive public
relations. All members of the school council must attend
the mandatory training session conducted by the diocesan
superintendent of schools.
