Our Story:

Holy Spirit Catholic School is located in Goddard, Kansas. We opened on August 16, 2002 with seventeen students. We began with kindergarten, combined first and second grade, with an additional grade being added annually. We are now a K-8 building with all day kindergarten. We will soon begin splitting classes as our growth allows.

Families involved with the school demonstrate their stewardship through various means. We pride ourselves on the commitment of our students, parents, and staff to building this community of faith.

We currently have an enrollment of 75 in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. We welcome any visitors to come and meet us, tour our school, and learn more about what we have to offer. The Catholic schools in the diocese of Wichita are recognized as a leader in high standards, innovation, ongoing staff development, and especially for the stewardship way of life.

“Lord, it is good for us to be here.”

Mt. 17:4

October: Our school is a proud supporter of the American Heart Association and the Jump Rope and Hoops For Heart programs. We have teamed up to provide your family with important information to help your family to lead stronger healthier lives. Incorporating healthy eating habits all year long is important to the health of your children but there are certain times of the year, such as Halloween, that have sweet temptations. As long as you have clear boundaries about when and what your children are allowed to eat from their Halloween stash, a limited amount of candy won’t undo a full year of healthy habits. If you’re looking for healthier alternatives to candy try these great ideas:

  • Bubbles! Look for the little mini-bottles that you see at weddings.
  • Stickers. Kids love stickers anytime and will love the chance to personalize their belongings.
  • Pencils. With all the technology at our fingertips, kids still love a cool looking pencil.
  • Sugar-free gum. Kids love gum and this is a great alternative.

Healthy Hint: Whatever you decide, make it fun! It’s the healthy choices you make throughout the year that determine your child’s overall health.
